History
Our History curriculum aims to spark children's curiosity about the past, encourage them to ask and answer important questions and develop their cultural capital.
We have designed our curriculum to embed knowledge through revision and revisiting of historical facts. Each Year Group looks at different Themes throughout History. Children learn about developments over time and key concepts before they answer a 'Big Question' by communicating historically. In this way, children develop their historical skills and build key knowledge about the past.

Here are some examples of our knowledge organisers. These documents are used by teachers to help them plan in detail the key knowledge children will learn about different themes in each Year Group.
