Delves Junior School

Welcome to the new academic year at Delves Junior School. This year the Year 6 team comprises 3 teachers and 2 teaching assistants, we are:

We are all looking forward to the coming year and hope that we can work in partnership with you in order for your child to reach their full potential this year. We will keep you informed about the subjects that your child will be studying throughout the year, their homework and any special year group events that will be taking place via our half termly newsletters..

Espresso looks and works like a website but you won´t find it on the Web. It lives on a computer at your school, which means you can access it quickly and reliably whenever you want. What´s more, you get instant access to high-quality full screen video as well as sophisticated multimedia activities that would take forever to download across the Internet.

New resources are automatically added every week to ensure content is always topical. In addition there is also a huge archive of print based resources. Espresso is a self-contained site - there´s no links to the World Wide Web which means safe surfing is guaranteed. Espresso is the proud winner of two BETT 2004 awards for Best Online Learning Resource and Best Primary software. Espresso web site.

Year 6 use the BBC ReviseWise website to help them revise for their sats. You can practise Maths, Literacy and Science actvities.

Year 6 use the SAM Learning website to help them revise for their sats. When you log on you will need our centre number it is WS5DJ. Your user id is your date of birth and your initials eg 271194AM. Ask your teacher for your password. You can practise Maths and Literacy activities.
