Ever wondered what is was like to work down a mine or go to school in Victorian times? Well Year Five children found out when they visited the Black Country Museum.

Taken around by guides, children were able to see victorian homes, shops and transport, giving them an insight into victorian life.

The highlight of the day for many, however, must surely have been seeing their teachers reprimanded and even caned when they experienced victorian school life!! See our photos in the Photo Gallery .

Parlez Vous Francais?

Tuesday, June 13th, 2006

Do you speak French? The children in Year Five certainly did when they took part in our French afternoon to celebrate the end of our Geography project!

French food was tasted, songs sung and words learnt, in what everyone thought was a fun educational afternoon. You can see lots of images in our Photo Gallery.
