Espresso
Saturday, July 1st, 2006Espresso aims to stimulate children´s learning through providing a rich cross-curricular resource to help teachers plan and create exciting lessons that meet National Curriculum objectives and cover QCA Schemes of Work. Espresso looks and works like a website but you won´t find it on the Web. It lives on a computer at your school, which means you can access it quickly and reliably whenever you want. What´s more, you get instant access to high-quality full screen video as well as sophisticated multimedia activities that would take forever to download across the Internet.
New resources are automatically added every week to ensure content is always topical. In addition there is also a huge archive of print based resources. Espresso is a self-contained site - there´s no links to the World Wide Web which means safe surfing is guaranteed. Espresso is the proud winner of two BETT 2004 awards for Best Online Learning Resource and Best Primary software. Espresso web site.
