Tudor Musicians

Friday, January 25th, 2008

We had a visit from Tudor musicians Paul Baker and Sue Pope. They entertained Year 4 with lots of music using instruments from the time of Queen Elizabeth I, as well as stories and dances from the period. Pupils and parents can see photos in our Photo Gallery. Espresso aims to stimulate children´s learning through providing a rich cross-curricular resource to help teachers plan and create exciting lessons that meet National Curriculum objectives and cover QCA Schemes of Work. Espresso looks and works like a website but you won´t find it on the Web. It lives on a computer at your school, which means you can access it quickly and reliably whenever you want. What´s more, you get instant access to high-quality full screen video as well as sophisticated multimedia activities that would take forever to download across the Internet.

New resources are automatically added every week to ensure content is always topical. In addition there is also a huge archive of print based resources. Espresso is a self-contained site - there´s no links to the World Wide Web which means safe surfing is guaranteed.
