Delves Junior School

We hope that everyone has a super Summer Holiday, and we look forward to seeing most of you again in September. Good luck to Year 6 in your new schools, we’ll be thinking of you.

Year Six have been working hard designing and making miniature gardens for their homework project. As usual the standard of their work was very high and they came up with some unusual and interesting ideas. We think some will have a future in landscape gardening!

On Thursday 6th July, Year 4 went to Shugborough Hall to take part in ‘The Blitz experience’.The children and adults had a super day taking part in many exciting activities, such as a gas mask drill, a simulated air raid and learning the ‘Lambeth Walk!

Many thank to the adults who assisted on our trip. Also, to the children whose behaviour was excellent. We even had compliments from members of the public on the sensible behaviour of our children.
