Congratulations to our school athletics team, who took first place in the local athletics tournament on Friday at Joseph Leckie School. Congratulations also to our infant school who won their section of the competition.
Two of our staff leave the school today (Friday): Mrs Woodhall has worked in the school office since 1999 and has been connected with the school through her own children since 1986. She and her husband are leaving to start a new life in Shropshire next week, and we wish them all the very best.
Also leaving, but hopefully returning next year, is Year 6 teacher Miss Lowe. She has been at the school since 1998, but will be having a baby in the very near future. She leaves with our best wishes, and we hope that looking after her own child is as rewarding as looking after other people’s ! We hope to see her back soon with the new arrival.

There will be a book fair at school all next week (June 26th - 30th). You can buy books in the hall at morning break time each day. Come early to beat the rush !
